School Accidents/Injuries

 Schools are liable for injuries sustained by children while under school supervision. Public schools are considered public entities so any claims against these schools must be in accordance with the Government Tort Claims Act. Generally, a claim must be filed within 6 months after the injury. Private schools may or may not be considered public entities, depending on their source of funding.
